By downloading or using 2A Base ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using 2A Base, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. These Terms apply to all users of the app.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years of age to use this app.
- You must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws regarding firearm ownership and carry.
- You are responsible for complying with all applicable laws in every jurisdiction where you use the information.
3. Information Only. Not Legal Advice.
All content in 2A Base, including carry laws, reciprocity information, CCW application guides, county data, and law updates, is provided for general informational purposes only. It does not constitute legal advice.
- Firearm laws change frequently. Information in this app may be outdated, incomplete, or inaccurate.
- Laws vary by state, county, city, and municipality. What is legal in one jurisdiction may be illegal in another.
- You are solely responsible for verifying current laws with official government sources before making carry, transport, storage, transfer, or compliance decisions.
- We strongly recommend consulting a licensed firearms attorney in your state for advice specific to your situation.
4. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, 2A Base and its developers shall not be liable for:
- Any legal consequences arising from reliance on information in the app
- Inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete law information
- Carry decisions made based on reciprocity or law data in the app
- Any damages arising from your use of or inability to use the app
5. Pro Subscription
- 2A Base Pro is offered as monthly and annual auto-renewable subscriptions. Exact pricing, trial availability, and renewal terms are shown by Apple before purchase.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You may cancel at any time through your Apple App Store account settings.
- No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods, except where required by law.
- Pro features are subject to change. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes.
6. Automated Law Monitoring
2A Base uses automated monitoring and review workflows to identify firearm law updates. This monitoring:
- May not capture all law changes in real time
- May contain errors, omissions, or misinterpretations of legal text
- Is not a substitute for official government sources or legal counsel
7. Push Notifications
If you opt into push notifications, you agree to receive law update alerts for your selected state. You may opt out at any time in the Account tab of the app, which will also remove your device token from our servers.
8. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse engineer or copy the app's content or data
- Use the app in any way that violates these Terms
9. Intellectual Property
All app content, design, and code are the property of 2A Base. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of your jurisdiction.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be reflected in an updated "Last updated" date above.
